The area of intervention is inserted in a rural territory, of flattened physiography, whose land use is mainly allocated to arable farming, pastoralism and small forest areas of eucalyptus and pine. The plot currently has a reduced ecological and landscape interest, but a high potential for regeneration given its proximity to the sea and the Natural Park. In the project phase, it was important to introduce a sufficiently strong conceptual matrix, which constituted a reference in the territory and that supported all the intervention.
This conceptual matrix will consist of introducing into the territory a set of circles of various strategically positioned dimensions, alluded to the circular elements that we can find in the numerous irrigation areas existing in the Alentejo landscape.
